Kanto Student league was started at the Senshu University pool on 24 May, 2014.

On the same day, Japanese national team left Japan to attend World League, Intercontinental Tournament, in Shanghai. So, several teams are shrunk at this Kanto Student league.

Inaba Kohei of Tsukuba University and Yamada Shotaro of Nihon University attended the Kanto Student League. They are the first year students of their universities, and the members of Japanese youth national team. They will attend FINA World Youth Water Polo Championships this August.

Tokyo Metropolitan University team came back. They did not appear in this league past four years because of lack of the players. Fortunately, they had nine players this year.

Yoshinari Hiroki is the head of the media section. He is a sophisticated guy, and is a field player of the Waseda University team.
